AIRPORT INFORMATION
McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) is located directly in Knoxville and is approximately a 15 minute drive into Downtown Knoxville.
For our families coming from Florida we highly recommend looking into Allegiant Airlines. They are an extremely cost effective way to travel to Knoxville from multiple Florida airports listed below. They do tend to be restrictive in terms of dates, but worth looking into.

THERE ARE NO ENTRY FEE REFUNDS FOR ATHLETES WHO WITHDRAW FROM THE COMPETITION (FOR ANY REASON) AFTER THE STATE ENTRIES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. THE EXCEPTION IS PETITIONED ATHLETES WHOSE PETITIONS ARE DENIED OR DO NOT RECEIVE MEDICAL CLEARANCE.
REFUNDS FOR PETITIONED ATHLETES WHO ARE NOT APPROVED WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THE REGION 8 CHAMPIONSHIPS.
